Structured financial education programs designed to help Canadians make informed decisions about their personal and business finances.
Choose from our structured learning programs designed to address different aspects of financial understanding. Each program provides practical knowledge you can apply to your own circumstances.
An intensive program designed to build comprehensive financial literacy over a concentrated timeframe. The bootcamp covers budgeting fundamentals, debt management strategies, credit understanding, banking products, and consumer protection rights.
Educational programming for entrepreneurs and small business owners who want to understand the financial aspects of running a business. Content covers business accounting basics, cash flow management, pricing considerations, and financial statement interpretation.
Educational content focused on understanding the Canadian tax system and how various decisions affect tax outcomes. Topics include income tax structure, deductions and credits, tax-advantaged accounts, and timing considerations for major financial decisions.
Each program follows a logical progression that builds on foundational concepts. You develop understanding systematically rather than collecting disconnected information.
Learning materials include exercises that encourage you to apply concepts to your own situation. Theory becomes meaningful through personal relevance.
All content addresses Canadian financial systems, regulations, and considerations. You learn about the specific environment that affects your decisions.
Program materials serve as reference guides you can return to as questions arise. Your learning extends beyond the completion of the program itself.

The Financial Literacy Bootcamp assumes no prior financial knowledge and starts with fundamental concepts. The Small Business Finance program works best if you have a business or are seriously planning to start one, as examples will be more meaningful with that context. The Tax Planning workshop assumes basic familiarity with filing taxes but doesn't require advanced knowledge.
Programs are delivered in person at our Edmonton location. Sessions combine presentation of concepts, group discussion, and individual exercises. You receive materials to take home that include reference guides and additional practice opportunities. Class sizes are kept small to allow for questions and interaction.
We provide session materials so you can review missed content. For the multi-session programs, we recommend attending all sessions to get the most benefit from the progressive structure. If you know in advance you'll miss a session, let us know and we can suggest ways to prepare for the following session.
Our programs focus on education rather than advice. We teach you the frameworks and considerations that inform financial decisions, but we don't recommend specific actions for your individual situation. This approach helps you become a more informed consumer of financial services and better equipped to work with financial advisors.
The Tax Planning workshop requires full payment at registration due to its short duration. For the Bootcamp and Small Business program, we can arrange payment in two installments—half at registration and half before the program midpoint. Contact us to discuss payment arrangements that work for your situation.
We update our materials regularly to reflect changes in tax laws, financial regulations, and industry practices. Our focus on understanding underlying principles means that even when specific rules change, the frameworks for thinking about financial decisions remain relevant.
